Robotics Night

Students and their families gathered September 21st for the 2nd TES Robot Battle. Students, with help from adults, built small robots using plastic cups, AA batters, 3 volt motors, markers, clothes pins, and electrical tape. After they built the robots they were able to see which one was the strongest by putting them through a small competition. Thank you to Mr. Andy Thorn for being the robot expert!

Great American Eclipse

Fifth grade students participated in the Great American Eclipse by spending the day, August 21, at the Greenbank Observatory in Pocahontas County with over 2000 other students from WV, VA, PA, and MD. Students built models of eclipses, performed experiments, and viewed the solar eclipse through telescopes and viewing glasses. Tennerton would like to thank PTO, the Greenbank Observatory, and Mrs. Anderson and Mrs. Gaudet for this wonderful experience for the students.

Tennerton Night At Buffalo Wild Wings

Come out and support Tennerton Elementary PTO on Wednesday, February 1 at BWW from 5:00-8:00 in Buckhannon. Show the ticket your child will bring home or tell your server you are with TES and the PTO will receive a portion of the evening's proceeds.

Families and friends of Tennerton are encouraged to participate in Kroger's school reward program. By linking your Kroger Card to TES the school is afforded a small percentage of each sale.
